Toxins are harmful to health and if we want to maintain good overall health and a good digestion must be eliminated from the body.
Specifically, an excess of toxins can produce some symptoms, including: constipation, swelling stomach, poor digestion, flatulence, fatigue, weight gain, excessive mucus, poor concentration, aches headaches, skin problems, memory disorders, depression, body odour and bad breath.

Some health professionals are a link between toxins and diseases like syndrome chronic fatigue, allergies to multiple chemicals, and fibromyalgia (pain in muscles and joints). Indeed, there is now a new medical discipline known as clinical ecology, which deals exclusively with environmental toxins that can affect our health.

Detoxification
The body does not have a system to detoxify toxins harmful. The body's most important to clean the toxins is the liver. Other routes of elimination are the intestines (the digestive system), kidneys, skin, lungs and lymphatic system.

When the body works well and is not overloaded with toxins, blood comes to transport them to the liver which degrades with enzymes, rendering them harmless or water in order to eliminate them through urine or stool.

Unfortunately, this system has a limited capacity because it was designed for toxins "natural" and not the toxins of human invention that surround us today. For example, protection against a toxin old as the world - alcohol - is incorporated into our genes. Thus, a gene into the liver produces an enzyme that converts alcohol into substances that the body can use or excrete.

Helping the body to detoxify
When our body is bombed by unknown toxins or generates too many toxins, or does not eliminate toxins effectively, toxins accumulate and can cause health problems. It must then undertake a detoxification programme, which supports the natural processes of elimination and prevents the accumulation of toxins.

The key to detoxification lies in our knowledge: we must understand the link between feel more or less in shape and toxicity, just understand where toxins and finally understand what you can do to take control.

Drinking water is an important aspect of detoxification. The water helps to lead toxins and waste out of the body and carries nutrients where they are needed. Try to drink eight to ten glasses of pure water each day.

The detoxification programmes
Many health professionals have developed detoxification programmes. These programs usually combine the points developed above, which are part of a clear approach that includes the use of foods as well as herbal supplements and fiber.

Whether you follow a program or simply that you take the initiative yourself, you find that your health could deteriorate seem at first. You might find yourself with symptoms such as acne, fatigue, headaches, a language task, cold extremities, digestive and intestinal stress and even mood swings. These are positive signs of detoxification and means that the process of cleansing the liver and other organs is under way.

The toxins in your body has accumulated, sometimes for years! It will take more than a few days or even a few weeks to remove them and start to feel better. Most people are experimenting with detoxification in cycles: they feel less well first of all before, then they feel an improvement. Then as toxins that are dislodged deeper, the symptoms may reappear and then disappear again. With each cleaning cycle the sense of well-being becomes more obvious and periods of malaise are becoming shorter. Eventually, a sense of well-being prevails.
