In Naples, household waste piled in the streets. The reader compassionate judge by the pictures that it is urgent to help the people tormented. But part of this waste is highly toxic and radioactive. No other regions of Italy does take charge of such waste, there are riots against exports, for example in the direction of Sardinia.
The import of such waste has a huge danger. Heavy metals in sewage sludge, waste and radioactive hospital infection should not be burnt in central incinerator. Today, nobody knows with certainty what kind of industrial or other wastes were buried and deposited in landfills located on the outskirts of Naples during the past 20 years.
It can not even be sure that there is no "gifts" American mixed with the waste, as a result of the work of clearing undertaken in certain parts of Kosovo and Iraq in an attempt to reduce contamination to the depleted uranium caused by bombings, the USA seems to have distributed these materials in various European countries.

Horizons and debates interviewed the couple X * who recently sought asylum in the canton of Ticino to escape this environmental disaster (see box below). The couple X: There are very strong suspicions that there are heavy metals, chemicals are highly toxic and radioactive material buried in the surrounding fields (between Acerra, Nola and Merigliano) and within legal landfills.
What radioactive substances is it?
From hospital waste, but it is suspected also other hazardous substances.
Is there too radioactive material from the regions of War, Kosovo and Iraq, or where these wastes do they come from?
I do not know. But I think they come mostly from Italy.
If so, how are they achieved so far?
By truck. But I repeat that this material from Italy, although I do not exclude that there may be too toxic waste from other countries.
Where are found radioactive substances and carcinogens in the food chain?
There is no certainty for that, because, as far as food, because nobody has control, but died of cancer are very high. In some cases, they even hint at a rate 350% higher than in other European regions.

The territory has never been controlled, and the complaints were never taken seriously.
