 Isidore famous duck under the sun Under a bright sun that the community of St. Isidore held the third edition of its annual festival, the Festival of duck and the pen once again a success across the board.Several activities have been particularly raced, as the spectacle of a hypnotist, Friday evening, racing modified tractors and beds, Saturday, as well as the famous race ducks, Sunday afternoon. "We must say we had the weather on our side this year, said with a laugh the main organizer of the festival, Colin Brisson. I think we can say, no doubt correctly, that it was a big success. Food to feed 5 billion people, or if you prefer the entire population of the planet? ? However, a question comes to mind, why then, eight hundred million land they suffer from deprivation of food and die of starvation? ! World hunger is present since the time of prehistory and likely to remain so for centuries one wonders why The majority of Americans have 3600 calories per day, on the other hand Europe follows closely with 3500 calories a day. That's huge when you think of all that is to get rid of every meal. Africa can digest today that 1700 to 2050 calories a day. Besides their diet is not as varied and nutritious than ours. In fact, several residents Africans eat only the contents of bins and dried vegetables from the sun. On average, 75/100 of the hungry live in the countryside (?), 25/100 are city dwellers who live in slums in major cities. A slum is defined, a village where houses are built on garbage. People who live there have to find something to eat in the mountains of waste. The waste is a rich dinner of a poor! |
