The article by Catherine Handfield daily La Presse has captured my attention this morning: The strange festivals - I knew you as well, that Quebec has probably the title of the province with more festivals (some valid… others less ) Per capita… But something surprising and thank you Catherine Handfield us emphasize… 7 of 10 festivals Quebec strange having made the list of journalist are located at the Centre-du-Quebec / Mauricie! There are of course the classic known by all, the Festival of pig Ste-Perpetue but also on the list, the demolition derby of harvesters in Upton, the Festival of haymaking in Saint-Narcisse, the Rio Carnival (nudist) and the Festival swinger ironically both the campsite Adam and Eve in Drummondville, the Festival of beef in Inverness and finally… the cherry on the sundae (really could not ask for better), the Festival of the buckwheat cake in Louiseville , Something to be proud Father Buckwheat! |
