Food poisoning is a general term for health problems caused by eating contaminated food. Food may be contaminated by bacteria, viruses, toxins (poisons) from the environment, or toxins within the food itself. Symptoms of food poisoning usually include vomiting and diarrhea. Some toxins also affect the nervous system.
 DESCRIPTION
Each year, millions of people suffer from bouts of vomiting and diarrhea that they blame on "something I ate." These people are usually correct. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimate that anywhere from six to thirty-three million cases of food poisoning occur in the United States each year. Many cases are mild. They pass so quickly that they are never diagnosed. On occasion, a severe outbreak affects a number of people. Newspapers, radio, and television may report on the outbreak.

Tip 1) TUMMY TONER
In addition to your workout regime, eat smaller portions. Your stomach is only about as large as your fist. So no need to stuff yourself with a large plate full of food.
Tip 2) TRY A TRAINER
Get advice or help from a trainer from time to time. Some online trainers are pretty affordable like around $2 week at eDiets.com. Or search your favorite online engine for free fitness forums and chat away.
Tip 3) PRACTICE YOUR POSTURE
Practice improving your posture daily, no matter whether you are sitting at your work desk, sitting at home in the family room or at the table, or standing and walking.
Stand up straight! Chest out and up. Shoulders back. Keep good posture.

Tip 4) VARIETY
Vary your routine during the week. Alternate days that you do cardio work on days when you don't do your other workouts.
Tip 5) ROUTINE
Also vary your routine. Research shows that a body can adapt to the same routine over a 4 to 6 week time frame. When you vary the routine, the body works harder, trying to adapt once again. At least increase the intensity or amount of sets you do. But "change" something.
Tip 6) WARMING UP & COOLING DOWN
Don't forget to warm up with some stretches before diving into your exercises in both cardio and strength training. You only need about 5 to 8 minutes. And target the muscle groups that you'll be using.

#1 Sleep earlier.
Those times when I stayed up late or even all night to try to cram even more stuff into an already hectic day are now over. The body just won’t  let me do those things anymore! And here’s the reason for improving your sleeping habits: your body heals and repairs itself and does its regulatory job while you’re snoozing. So give it the rest it deserves to keep you chugging along well the next day. A lifetime of bad sleeping habits will no doubt take a toll on you and this is one easy way to avoid getting sick.

#2 Consider vitamin supplementation.
If you’re not a good eater, you’ll be on your way to depleting your body of required vitamins and minerals. Supplements — especially the important ones — are a necessity to help replenish your body’s stores. Certain vitamins and minerals are important to prevent certain diseases from occurring and if you’re not getting them from your diet, consider taking a boost from other nutritional sources. But it’s not all just about pill popping either as you’ll get the most out of such a program if you are informed. I’ve gotten into debates about this with colleagues who believe that you should get all you need from the food you eat, and that would be true if you eat a healthy diet. Unfortunately, too many people I know don’t and no doubt have nutritional deficiencies. Supplements are there to hopefully help such people get back on track by addressing those gaps. Amazingly, some news stories are out there naming certain vitamins as keys to preventing major chronic or even life threatening diseases — I don’t know about you but I’ve paid attention. On the other hand, this advice is also controversial as vitamin use is prone to abuse and because various studies have uncovered the harm that supplementation misuse can bring. The key here is moderationand appropriate treatment

When it comes to keeping fit, there are a host of responsibilities that you must taken on in order to ensure that the diet and exercise that you maintain has positive effects on the health of your body. In this article, we'll be talking about some simple ways to change your life in order to allow your lifestyle to be more beneficial to your level of fitness.

- Get your nutrition from a variety of sources. The wider the range of the foods you eat, the better your body can get the various nutrients and minerals that it requires to function properly. Sticking to a picky diet of the same foods over a long period of time can have negative consequences when it comes to your health.

- Whenever possible, include garlic as an ingredient in what you eat. Garlic is a veritable wonderfood, helping the body in a large number of ways. Garlic helps the immune system to function more properly, aids the thinning of the blood, and allows the body to produce hormones more readily.

Paul Tukey is a former lawn-care professional who got sick due to repeated exposure to chemicals he used to keep properties green during the late '80s and '90s.
Now, he's dedicated to helping professionals and homeowners avoid the acute chemical sensitivity — headaches, blurred vision and nosebleeds — he developed. He also wants to protect the precious environment we live in.
"Most illnesses are related to environmental exposures, most of which we cannot control," he says. "We can control how we maintain our landscapes, however, and we need to be doing this in a natural way that is safe for our families, our pets and the planet."
